Junia Joseph-Benham, Founder/Owner

Multipreneur, Junia Joseph-Benham is the owner of Rooted Creative. She leverages her 20 years of experience in event production to lead and manage the projects that fall under the Rooted Creative umbrella.

Armed with a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications, she began her career in the television industry as a successful producer and production manager. With the agility and creativity that are vital to live and recorded television projects, transitioning to live and virtual event production was a natural fit for Junia.

She is a proven leader in the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, galas, awards presentations, festivals and more of varying complexities for corporations, non-profits, and trade associations.

Junia served as a board member for several years and is a Past President of the Minnesota Festivals and Events Association (MNFEA), and has completed the University of Minnesota Tourism Center’s Festival and Event Management Program.

Rooted Creative also holds active memberships with the Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce, Saint Paul Area Chamber, and Minneapolis Regional Chamber.

A Florida native, Junia now calls the Twin Cities home with her Minnesota-native husband and a set boy/girl twins.
